ADULT MINISTRY
Sunday School
Pleasant Union offers a variety of adult Sunday school classes:
- Bible Class: This class follows a published weekly curriculum to explore the scriptures within their historical context, one book of the Bible at a time. There is some reading and preparation each week so that we can get the most out of our time together.
- Covenant Class: Using a mixture of detailed Bible study and material that focuses on contemporary issues, the Covenant Class explores the intersection of Biblical principles with the ongoing struggle to live out our Christian beliefs in a broken world. Honest discussion keeps the class exciting and fun!
- Fellowship Class:
- Master's Class:
Bible Studies
In addition to Sunday School classes, the church offers various Bible studies throughout the week. Some of these are short terms studies covering a particular topic or book of the Bible, while others are regular weekly studies. Presently, Pastor Keith is offering a study on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm. Heather Fraley is currently leading a Women's Bible study which meets on Monday evenings at 6:30.
Fellowship Groups
This spring, we are launching our first small group, "Food and Fellowship", for younger adults, including singles, couples, and parents. We will begin each week with a shared family meal. After dinner, the children will go to another room for a lesson, fun, and games, while the adults fellowship, pray for one another, and study God's Word. This small group will begin meeting once the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. For more information, please contact the church office.
