WORSHIP
Traditional Worship
Our typical Sunday morning service here at Pleasant Union Church starts at 11 am in the sanctuary. Together we pray, sing traditional church hymns, listen to the choir, and receive the sermon. Communion is normally served on the first Sunday of the month, and is open to everyone. Children are always welcome in the sanctuary throughout the service. Alternatively, our adult-supervised nursery is available for children under three, and children's church is open to children from age three through fifth grade. If you have any questions or are unsure about something, please ask our friendly ushers or any member of the church family, and we will be glad to help!
Contemporary Worship
On one Sunday each month--usually the second Sunday--we meet at 11 am in the fellowship hall, rather than the sanctuary, for a contemporary worship service. The order of worship is similar to the traditional service, with a full band leading the congregation in modern Christian music rather than hymns. It is always a wonderful time of worship and fellowship, and everyone is invited to attend and experience both forms of praise and devotion to our one living God.
