Vacation Bible School

During the month of June, the Church holds a one-week Vacation Bible School for the children of the community. Every evening, children ages 3 through 9th grade learn a Bible story, participate in arts and crafts, and play games, all designed to help them understand the incredible love of God revealed in Jesus Christ. Adults from the church volunteer there time to build sets, teach lessons, serve snacks, lead games, and guide the kids through their activities as we together explore the Good News of the Gospel. The kids even raise money for an overseas mission project. This year 2023, VBS will be held the week of June 18th through the 23th from from 6 pm to 8 pm. The theme is "Stellar Shine Jesus' Light". Please contact the church office to volunteer or sign up your kids!

"Our Table" Community Meal

Every Thursday evening, Pleasant Union Church hosts "Our Table", a free community meal that is open to everyone. For six years, the members have been serving up delicious food and warm fellowship to whomever God brings to the church, knowing that both reflect the love of God made known to us in Jesus Christ. This ministry has grown through the years, and we now serve more than 250 meals every week to members of our community. We believe that the best testimony we can give to the difference God makes in our lives is through our actions, and we pray that those who gather at the church on Thursday night will experience the love of God and of this church family as we eat together.
